MADType assisted American Eagle in the logo development for their new aerie intimates brand. We then created the aerie regular, italic, and light typefaces which are based upon and used in conjunction with the logo.
 
 


MADType worked with Nike designers to create this custom typeface for use on World Cup 2006 jerseys and related products. Specifically, MADType completely re-drew and tightened up an existing Nike concept font to our exacting typographic standards. Space savings, legibility, and a unique style were all important considerations in the design.
 
 

 
MADType began from scratch to design this custom font for American Eagle Outfitters. AE wanted a strong typeface which was something like a Clarendon style face but with more Garamond-like proportions. MADType created proportional matching smallcaps to go along with the regular weight.
 
 

 
MADType designed this four weight font family from the ground up for the new Virgin America. MADType worked closely with Anomaly NYC and Virgin to create a modern and timeless design. The intended use for this family is consumer communications and related collateral.
